Well, hello September. A time of new starts, re-starts and this year, lurching into the unknown of what Episode 9 of 2020 will bring. Schools are back, football is back and the 6th September brings Colour Blind Awareness Day.
There may possibly have been a discussion in the shop as to whether the true purpose of a football stadium is actually as a rock concert venue… can’t imagine who started that one… moving quickly on…
There was an excellent article on the BBC website this week about the effects on colour blindness in all aspects of football – from international matches to grass roots training, supporters (in the stands and at home) and club staff. Not just football…
As the Nations League matches are played on Colourblind Awareness Day we know other sport will be going on too – for the 1 in 12 males and 1 in 200 females who are going to pick up the right colour bib might be a challenge, we’re here to help.
