EYES on DITA

We are regularly visited in the shop by brand representatives, wanting us to stock their latest collection of eye wear. We’re tough customers – with exacting standards and the drive to bring the best eye wear there is to St Albans. However, there’s one brand we’ve been after for a while – and that’s DITA.

DITA were formed in 1995 – their branding states they’re “a category of one” and although that’s a bold claim, they’re bang on. Their frames are exquisite – in design, styling and detailing. From tiny flecks of colour on the arms of the frames, to dramatic ‘statement’ looks, each pair is a blend of the best engineering, manufacturing skills and design.

DITA – as worn by…

If you’re a follower of Formula 1, you can spot the Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen, Alexander Albon and Sébastien Buemi all wearing DITA sunglasses – as well as many of their support team and mechanics. On the F1 scene, you may also spot Lewis Hamilton sporting a pair as well as many of the ‘A’ list who frequent the paddock on race day

If movies are more your thing, you can see DITA worn by Robert Downey Jnr in the Avengers movies and as Tony Stark in IronMan. Take a look at DITA’s instagram feed for more celebrities wearing these wonderful frames.

You’ll also see Sam Smith, Niki Minaj and Usher wearing DITA and such is the level of popularity of these frames, you can now register your frame with DITA direct – which is their attempt to help people avoid the counterfeit frames which are now, sadly, available.
