Four weeks ago St Albans Action for Homeless took a chap off the street. He was complaining of poor vision. Jez immediately squeezed him in and Kavita gave him a thorough eye test. The end result was he needed glasses full time. Jez then showed him a range of frames. Finally went to pay and fee was waived . In these austere times we really appreciate the kindness of this wonderful local business.

A BIG thank you to Jez at Eyes on St Albans. Getting glasses felt daunting, bringing back memories of NHS glasses and patches - no need to say anymore!! I had my eyes tested by a high street brand (next time I will book in with here) and came out with lots of questions and it turns out the wrong advice. Luckily I took my prescription in to Jez for a bit of advice. He suggested a different type of lens, answered my questions and reassured me that my choices would be right and if they weren't we could correct it. As for picking frames, I was a rabbit in headlights. I'm not sure how he did it, but the first pair he picked were the ones! I tried on more that he suggested to be sure, they looked good but weren't as good - anything I picked myself looked awful!! It's clear that Jez really knows his stuff, the shop has a really good vibe and you feel completely at ease. The whole experience was first class, thank you very much Jez!

I went to every optician in St Albans and couldn’t find anything that suited me, furthermore it didn’t seem that staff wanted to help me. I went to Jez @ eyes on St Albans and received 10/10 customer service and within 15 minutes found some glasses that I love ! Thank you Jez!

Was after a glasses case a friend of mine had bought from Jez. Unfortunately Jez had run out of these but he gave me his own case free of charge. What a lovely man and such a great surprise in a world where everyone is out to get as much from you as they can. @Jez ...donation made to St Albans Action for Homeless.
